MISSION

Conservation - Education - Advocacy

The Northern Rockies Wolf Conservation Project's overall campaign concentrates on gray wolves in Idaho and Montana, which are currently being brutally trapped and slaughtered under the directives of their respective state governments.

We are dedicated to educating and advocating for the gray wolves indicated herein, as well as promoting nonlethal coexistence tactics between them and humans. We research and support only the most effective nonlethal wolf deterrents in the wild across the United States.

The Northern Rockies Wolf Conservation Project takes a problem-solving approach and provides a ready petition to call for the gray wolf to be reinstated on the Endangered Species Act so that direct aid can be provided to them not only in Idaho and Montana, but across the country. Through conservation, education, and advocacy, we hope to improve and strengthen reforms in politics and society that will benefit wolves. Our vision is based on scientific knowledge from Kelly Murphy, a lead caretaker and educator at the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center in Divide, Colorado, as well as extensive and reputable first-hand research.

The Northern Rockies Wolf Conservation Project aims to raise public awareness about annual, state-managed gray wolf harvest seasons in Montana and Idaho, as well as tried-and-true coexistence methods, and to encourage people to advocate for the gray wolf's reenlistment on the endangered species list.
